The advanced Hawk handling course (AHH) is designed and delivered as a logical progression on from the BHH. Again as with all our courses it is a half day module lasting approx 3 hours. It can be taken on its own or as part of a complete day by linking the BHH to the AHH.

The course is specifically designed to take the participant on to some of the more advanced techniques when flying and training Birds of Prey. Whilst the BHH is considered a pre requisite to the AHH it can be taken on its own. The AHH is an afternoon course.

We start the course with a 20 – 30 minutes briefing in our Falconry workshop. This provided the participants with information and details about the birds that will be flow, preparation on taking a Hawk into the countryside and safety checks prior to flight.

We then take the Hawks out into the Warwick countryside around our Falconry Centre and teach the advanced techniques required whilst preparing the Hawk for Hunting. Very enjoyable and relaxed hands on experience suitable for experience day participants of for those intending to fly their own Hawk.

The half day AHH module finishes when we return to our Falconry arena and do the final checks with our Hawk before feeding and readying for their night quarters. Participants will receive a detailed handout that supports the course content and as with all our experiences a Certificate acknowledging their participation.

Cost £80.00 per person or £75.00 when taken with the BHH
